ABOUT MCPC
I believe the human body is capable of incredible things. With a thoughtful plan and smart recovery, we have the power to heal, balance, and adapt—allowing us to live more confidently and freely.

At Mary Cristelli Performance Coaching, I provide a fitness experience designed for those who value their time as much as their health. I offer a completely private, 1-on-1 personal training service delivered directly to your home. No crowded gyms, no shared equipment, and no distractions. I bring the expertise and equipment to you, creating a supportive environment where your goals are the sole focus.

Whether you are an adult looking to move with more ease, an athlete chasing a new personal best, or a busy professional balancing a demanding schedule, my approach is informed by scientific principles and refined through over a decade of proven results. I specialize in integrative functional movement that translates to your real world, and your program is specifically tailored for you and your goals.

My ideal client is someone with a clear goal, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work. While looking and feeling better is a natural result of our work together, my primary goal is your longevity. I want you to move with ease and confidence for decades to come, enjoying the life you’ve built.

Why Integrative Functional Training?
Our bodies are designed to move as a single, sophisticated unit - not as a collection of isolated parts. Over my 13+ years of coaching, I’ve found that the most effective way to build a resilient body is through Integrative Functional Training. This approach is the gold standard recommended by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In our work together, we prioritize movements that translate directly to your real-world environment and emphasize:

-
Maximum Efficiency: Your time is your most valuable asset and you don’t need to spend hours in the gym to see results. By engaging multiple muscle groups simultaneously, we build more usable strength and sharpen your movement intelligence, allowing you to move with more ease and fluidity.
-
Stability & Injury Prevention: A strong body must first be a stable one. My programming incorporates specific stabilization work to strengthen your joints and improve proprioception (your body’s awareness in space); this can significantly reduce the risk of injury.
-
Real-World Translation: We train for the life you live outside the “gym.” Whether it’s maintaining the coordination to play with your pets or kids, improving your athletic performance, or moving through your day without pain, we build a body that performs as well as it looks.
-
Longevity-First Focus: Looking better is a natural side effect of a science-based program, but my primary goal is your lifelong freedom of movement. I want to ensure you move with ease, strength, and confidence well into the future.

Training Should Be Safe
Results come from consistency, If you’re hurt you can’t be consistent, and pushing through the pain only leads to more issues down the road - I know this from personal experience. My journey navigating overuse injuries and ongoing shoulder problems throughout my adult life have informed my training style to establish correct movement patterns, strengthen your joints, improve balance and coordination, and make you stronger overall so your body is more resilient to injuries.
Your program will work when you show up
Your program works when you show up and put in the effort. I will be here to guide and support you, but can’t do the work for you. When you show up for yourself and give 100% of what you have that day to your goal, you will see results.
Training Should be Enjoyable
Well, as enjoyable as hard training can be, anyway. My programs are built on simple principles that have been proven to be effective. I routinely update your program so you continue to progress and don’t feel like you’re just doing the same thing over and over and over.
You need a personalized plan
Anyone can drop a video on social media telling you that what works for them will work for you too. However, if the “5 best exercises for….” don’t account for your body, injury history, and goals, what’s the point? Training should have a purpose and be relevant to you. I structure your program to have you progressively build toward your ultimate goal.
Training Should Feel Supportive
I really value the human aspect of the client/trainer relationship; it can make or break the outcome of our partnership. The gym can be intimidating and the fear of being judged or having a trainer who yells at you keeps people away from a space I’ve seen so many people (myself included) experience incredible transformation and empowerment. You deserve to feel welcome in the gym. You deserve to be spoken to respectfully while you're being challenged physically. Your trainer should be approachable, and open to your feedback and questions - it’s your body being trained, you know it best and what you’re feeling matters.
Give it a try
Every workout can look different. This is your chance to make it what you want.

Mary Cristelli

I graduated from Colorado State University- Pueblo with a Bachelors in Exercise Science, with an emphasis in lifestyle behavior change. Alongside a personal training certification, I also hold certifications in nutrition, sleep, stress, and recovery coaching. I’ve been supporting people on their wellness journeys since 2012 and feel like I’m truly doing what I was meant to do.

After being sidelined from running by an overuse injury, I was forced to embrace a completely different training approach. I prioritized correcting muscular imbalances, increasing overall strength, mobility, and stability, and building recovery directly into my programming, and was pleasantly surprised by how much stronger I got and better I felt. This experience fundamentally transformed my life and my coaching philosophy. Now, I am as committed to helping my clients develop a progressive, balanced, and sustainable fitness lifestyle that leads to success as I am to maintaining my own. Everyone deserves to feel strong and move well.

Outside of the gym, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, spending time with my wife, hanging out with my family and friends, watching women’s basketball, and spending time outdoors.
