My Story

With over 13 years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, I have dedicated my career to a single mission: helping women navigate the physical shifts of life with power, patience, and scientific precision.

I understand that for women in the prime of their lives, fitness isn't about chasing a number on a scale or following the latest fleeting trend - it’s about protecting your mobility, your bone density, and your peace of mind. I bring a decade-plus of evidence-based practice to ensure your program is sophisticated and tailored to suit your lifestyle.

My coaching philosophy was developed through a pivotal personal shift. For years, my relationship with exercise was driven by "shoulds”...an internal pressure that I had to run because it was my identity, even when I was exhausted or nursing an injury. When an overuse injury finally sidelined me, I was forced to re-evaluate that extremely rigid mindset.

​

Slowly, I began trading a sense of obligation for intuition and self-trust. I started prioritizing building functional strength, improving my balance and stability, and incorporating intentional recovery activities into my routine and was pleasantly surprised to find that by listening to my body rather than just pushing through, I became stronger and more resilient than ever before. I also developed a more loving relationship with my body and started feeling more confident and comfortable in my own skin.

It was really beautiful and freeing, and it fundamentally changed my life. 

​

Today, I am as committed to helping my clients develop a sustainable fitness lifestyle as I am to maintaining my own. Whether we're building bone density to create a more resilient foundation for an active life or increasing muscle mass to support hormonal health and a responsive metabolism, we do it through an integrative framework tailored to your unique biology.

It brings me a great deal of joy when my clients share that they are feeling their own sense of confidence and comfortability in their body because of our work together.  Every woman deserves to feel free to do what she wants to do! 

​

Outside of training, you’ll find me paddleboarding the James River with my wife, reading, watching women’s basketball, exploring the outdoors, cooking delicious food, or hanging out with my family and friends.
